Opportunities for
Ministry and Service Sunday, July 17th 3rd Sunday Lunch @ Williams—12:15 PM Tuesday, July 19th UMW—8:00 PM Wednesday, July 20th Choir @ Williams—6:30 PM Prayer Meeting @ Williams—7:00 PM Thursday, July 21st Bible Study @ Audrey Smith’s (Acts 16-18)—10:00 AM Why Does the Holy Spirit Matter? Even those to whom Jesus had “interpreted
the things about himself in all the scriptures” (Luke 24:13-34) and the disciples who had spent years following
Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to give them the power to live lives for God
(Luke 24:34-49). We too need the
Spirit to empower us to live for God, and we are going to take the next few
weeks to focus on how the Holy Spirit is active in and around us and how to
seek more of the Spirit in our lives.
Join us in the coming weeks as we discover what it means to be “Clothed with Power from on High.” New Cell Phone Number Pastor
