Lent (the season of preparation leading up to Easter), we will be focusing

for more information about how you can get involved as we set aside this special
season to grow in our understanding and practice of prayer.
World Mission Tour tonight!
The youth at Crenshaw UMC
(Blackstone) are sponsoring a World Mission Tour tonight at 5:00 p.m. at
the church. There will be eight rooms set up with different mission
opportunities including Friends of Barnabas, Edisto Indians, UMCOR
missionary Clara Biswas' work in Cambodia,
Operation Christmas Child (Haiti), Jamaica, Nothing But
Nets (Africa), the Henry Fork Center, and the Southside Gleaning network! Each room will have
information about the mission and food tasting of something that would be
typical for that area of the world. Admission for the Tour is a can
of food that will be donated to H.E.L.P., a local emergency food pantry.

New Church Plant in the Farmville District!
Based
on the work of the Ameilia Thrift Store, a group
of passionate men and women are going to begin a new church community in Amelia
County to reach unengaged individuals.
More information to come, but please begin praying
for this new church plant. We
have not had a new church in the Farmville District since the 1930’s, so
this is an exciting time!
Outreach
Opportunities!
Thank
you to everyone who has contributed to our School Supply Collection this month! Be praying over the supplies as they are
distributed that they might richly bless the teachers and children.
